Video posts: Reels and TikToks, and your monthly videos

Upload a clip, approve it, and post it as an Instagram Reel, a Facebook Reel and a TikTok — plus how many videos your plan includes each month and what a video pack adds.

In the Marketing Designer, every campaign has New video post. Pick a clip from your computer or phone (3 seconds to 2:30), give it a cover and a caption, approve it, then tick where it goes: Instagram Reel, Facebook Reel, TikTok — one, two or all three.

Every plan includes 5 videos a month. A Video pack adds up to 90 more a month for US$77/month. One video counts once, however long it is and however many places you post it.

Uploading a clip

  1. Open Marketing → Designer, find the campaign, and press New video post.
  2. Choose the clip. Before anything is sent, FieldQuo reads its length and shape: a clip over 2:30 is refused straight away, and one that isn't vertical (9:16) asks Fit to 9:16 (adds bars) or Crop to 9:16 first.
  3. Keep the page open while it uploads — large clips go up in pieces, so a phone's 4K recording works. When it says Converting, you can leave: the video screen picks up where it left off.

Every clip is converted once, as it arrives: to at most 1080×1920 for a vertical clip (1920×1080 for a landscape one), as an MP4 that Instagram, Facebook and TikTok all accept. Fit or Crop is done in the same step. The 4K original is not kept — what you see on the video screen is exactly what gets posted.

If your browser can't read a clip's length (some older computers can't open an iPhone's HEVC video), you are told before you upload that anything past 2:30 will be cut at 2:30.

Your monthly videos

  • 5 videos a month are included on every plan. The month is the calendar month in your company's time zone.
  • A video is counted once, when it has arrived and been converted — that is when the storage and conversion cost is incurred. A 10-second clip and a 2:30 clip each count as one. Posting it to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok is still one.
  • A clip that fails to upload is not counted.
  • The video screen and Settings → Account & Billing both show X of Y videos used this month.

When the month is used up, a new upload is refused before anything is sent, with the count. Owners and administrators see Add a video pack; everyone else is told to ask one of them.

The video pack

A Video pack is a monthly add-on: US$77/month for up to 90 more videos a month, on top of the 5 included. You can hold more than one — each adds another 90. Add one from Settings → Account & Billing or from the button that appears when the month is used up; it is a Stripe checkout on the same account as your plan.

  • It counts from the moment its first payment goes through, and for as long as it is paid for.
  • Stop renewing keeps it counting until the end of the month you have paid for, then it ends. Nothing already posted is touched.
  • Video packs are billed in US dollars. A company whose plan is billed in Canadian or Australian dollars can't add one yet — the screen says so instead of offering a checkout that Stripe would refuse.

Approving a video post

A video post needs the same approval as a design. On the video screen, Approve records who approved it and exactly what they approved: the clip, its shape, the cover and the caption. Changing any of those afterwards withdraws the approval, and the screen says so — approve it again once you've looked.

Owners, administrators, managers and dispatchers can approve and post.

Where it goes: one tick box each

DestinationLength it acceptsNotes
Instagram Reel3 seconds – 15 minutesNeeds a caption. Also shown on your profile grid. Uses the frame you picked, or your uploaded cover picture.
Facebook Reel3 – 90 secondsPosted to your Page. Facebook picks its own cover. Up to 30 Reels a day per Page.
TikTokUp to your TikTok account's own limitOpens TikTok's own posting window — who can see it, comments, Duet, Stitch and disclosure — as TikTok requires.

A destination the clip can't go to is greyed out with the reason, and the others stay available — a 2-minute clip shows Too long for a Facebook Reel (max 90 seconds) while Instagram and TikTok can still be ticked.

Posting to Facebook and Instagram needs Meta's approval of FieldQuo's app — see Post to Facebook and Instagram, now or later. Until then those two boxes say it isn't available yet. TikTok needs your account connected under Settings → TikTok.

Mga madalas itanong

Does a longer video count as more than one?

No. One video counts once, from 3 seconds up to 2:30.

Why can't I change the shape after uploading?

Fit or Crop is applied as the clip arrives, and the original isn't kept — that is what keeps a 4K recording from being stored at 4K. Upload the clip again to choose the other shape.

I posted the same video to Instagram and TikTok — is that two?

No. It is counted once, when it was uploaded.
